Base Commander’s Log—November 08

Greetings, crew!

            As I write this we are preparing for the SBK mission to Count Marco’s Castle---oooo, scary.  ;)  What fun we have there each year and I’m sure ’08 will be no exception.  This past Saturday evening we had an awesome time at the home of member Michelle Turchiano, catching up on Stargate Atlantis and Supernatural.  Thanks again, Shell.  :*

            Of course we have many more fun events coming up for the holidays, so I’ll be seeing most of you soon.  In the meantime, though, I wanted to let each and everyone reading this know how grateful I am to have you in my life, and I know you all feel the same way about each other.

            Isn’t it wonderful having a group of friends that feel like family?   Of course not everyone agrees about everything—if election time hasn’t shown us that then nothing else will, hehe.  But at heart we know we are all the same.  We are one.

            Thanks guys and have a great Halloween and Turkey Day!
